My 2013 17b's door strike plate is wearing and became very sharp. In addition the door does not seal well anymore. I filed it and contacted Escape only to find it was custom made there and they lost all of their equipment for making these in a fire. I have included two photos in case my nomenclature is incorrect. Has anyone found a replacement? I could not find a thread on this topic in this Forum. Thank you for the assistance.
This is mine. Think you can buy a short length of aluminum stock at Home Depot and you can shape a replacement on a vise. If not, perhaps find someone near you to duplicate one.

The construction of the door and frame on my 2009 19 is the same as yours. Regarding the striker plate wear, if you hold the latch lever open when closing the door you will virtually eliminate the wear on the striker plate in the future.
As for the door sealing problem, it seems to be very common for us owners of the first generation trailers with curved side walls and doors. Its probably one reason that the new trailers have straight (flat) walls and doors. The previous owner of my unit solved the seal problem by adhering self adhesive closed cell foam tape to the door (not the door gasket on the door frame) at the locations where the door does not contact the gasket when it is closed. That foam tape is available in various widths and thicknesses in most hardware stores, and has the added virtue of being cheap.
Thank you all. Just got back from another fishing trip in the ol' 17b hence the tardy response. I will try George's fix first and will likely pick up the aluminum stock that Myron suggested. Best to you all.
