Ok I get it. So what you don't have is a large enclosed under bed area like a traditional 19. That makes more sense with how you describe using your Vornado heater. The under bed area in the 19 gets quite cold in the winter and I've been contemplating some solutions. Maybe some better insulation and taking the lower cabinet doors off would help to get and keep some heat under there. A nice Propex propane heater mounted under there pulling return air through and ducted out to the trailer (including the bathroom!) would work too .

snow on roof

In 1983 we brought our 13 Scamp from Ca. to Utah and left it outside as our garage doors were too short. We were down wind of Salt Lake and had several feet of nice heavy snow on top of the trailer the first winter. when I tried to remove the wheels in the spring I discovered the axle had settled to a new lower position and I had to deflate the tires to remove them.
