Smile Strange object

Is definitely some type of fastener. It could be the final safety for the M 36 5 Mt nuclear weapon if it is you all are in great trouble.

I think its the same as the one I found on our last trip.
Mine was a hinge pin for the bathroom door. Check your hinges and see if you are missing the pin in one.

I’ll check those door hinges. Thank you.

Looks similar to some of the cabinet door hinge pins that have come out of a few of my cabinet door hinges.

So I also found one of these fasteners on the floor two years ago. I have examined the bathroom door hinges and they seem to be intact and not missing any hardware. I have looked at the components in my trailer, but I have not removed the furnace grill; perhaps it is a fastener from inside the furnace? Pure speculation.

I will look at the cabinet door hinges.

Any other ideas?

I have no idea what it is but I would tape it to the inside of a cabinet because the minute you throw it away you’ll find out what it’s for and desperately need it.

Don’t be silly. The M36 safety looks more like an acorn nut, this is from the M4x series. Would have to measure the mass to see if it was the M43 or the M44. Different alloys, obviously.

Likely dropped during construction and installer forgot to pick it up. Takes a while for it to free itself?

I think it is from the stove cover. I remember it from our 17'. Not essential bot leaves a hole.
