Wheels??

Hi there I am wondering if anybody can give me the “Lug Pattern”of the wheels ?my trailer is coming soon with the regular white steel wheels thinking I might be able to change them out for a little less than 800 bucks? Any help would certainly be appreciated. Thanks in advance Gary.

Thanks Donna, I forgot that and it’s important. And common, so not hard to find.

I have several sets of really nice Ford wheels, none are zero offset

Actually, the $800.00 is pretty good value for 5 Aluminum rims everything included.

To buy them later from Escape costs over $2300 with tires only.

I opted to just get the standard white rims so I could change them out after I got the trailer. I bought some great rims used the tires that came with the trailer for less then the upgrade. My trailer is now unique from everyone else's

That’s what I’m hoping I can do. I had to draw the line somewhere and stop the bleeding. I’m paying top dollar at the top of the market.

FWIW this is probably set by the bolt pattern but the stock Escape rims also have a 3.19" pilot hole diameter

That's a good catch - check that the centre bore (or pilot bore) is large enough. Although it's unlikely to be a problem, that diameter is not entirely consistently tied to the bolt pattern.

Shopping for rims gives new meaning to the phrase, wheelin' and dealin'.

I'm doing that too. I JUST put Goodyears on my 2013 E19. I want to take those tires & put on alloy wheels on my new E19, & take the whole new set & put on 2013 to sell.

FYI, most if not all etrailer tire-wheel combos come unbalanced. I know some folks don't balance their trailer tires while others do. For me, if it's spinning in circles, it should be balanced.

I was thinking 5 aluminum rims for $800; no way. Then I remembered inflation. I bought 4 of these in Feb. 2020 for $102 each from Discount tire. They now want $179 each. Amazon has them for a bit less at $161. The finish has held up much better in my climate near the coast with the satin finish vs. clear coat. Outlander 944B for trailer:

Yes, zero (or very close) offset is normal for trailer wheels... but very uncommon in modern motor vehicles, so wheels sold specifically for trailers are the only likely fit.
