Currently scheduled for pick up in Chilliwack in mid October, but I wouldn't mind at all if it is moved up. Any time after Mid May, when I get settled back in Oswego from my winter trip to the southwest. Hopefully, I will have time to sell the 17B before I leave to pick up the 21. I'll miss it. particularly the bells & whistles I've added over the last 5 years, but I wanted a bigger table, oven & microwave, and the 21 ended up just a bit more than a reversed 19.

sure doesn't take much to get you guys off track!

You need to go to Chilliwack if you want a storage box. We picked one up, tied it to the top of our Honda CR-V and brought it home. It takes a bit of welding up brackets for the mounting BUT when it's all said and done.... That box is GREAT!!!! Think it was less than $450 US and it cost about $150 for the welding. I did the painting and mount, battery wire refit, etc.

Jon...with all of your upgrades and the relative rarity of these trailers you should be lining up potential buyers up and down the East Coast well in advance of your pickup of the 21

We are thinking about a new vehicle ....very hard choice . So many new vehicles have issues -sure wouldn't buy a new Jeep right now . Our Liberty is still in great condition and we've just reached 170, 000 kilometres. We still want the same tow capacity at the Liberty ( or almost ) ....not up-sizing our 15 though - still love it .

Visits to the factory can be dangerous. I went there and put a deposit on a 17 planning to tow it with my RAV4 V6. On the 2nd visit we looked at a 17 with air conditioning, the first demo didn't have it, and realized the AC grill was too low for me. So we switched the order to a 19. Two weeks later we decided we liked the 21 plan better and switched again. That change necessitated a bigger tow vehicle so we bought a Tundra. Picked up the trailer in April, made a few mods and took off for 2 months of trips. Everything went well and we're very pleased with the package. A note to those considering a 17, if you're 6 foot tall get into one with AC before ordering.

Well at least you saved yourself a lot of buying and selling trailers in between, you just went for the biggest and never looked back....you would have been be happy either way, it is just now you have more to be happy about.

I know how this trailer thing can grow. Actually it was a 13 ft. Scamp that first got me looking at fiberglass trailers. Loren

How do you like your 21' paired with a Tundra? Do you mind sharing your MPG while towing? Dale

The Tundra is a double cab with a 4.7 V8. It gets about 12-15 mpg puling the 21. The truck is about 2000 lbs heavier than the 21 and rated for a much bigger trailer. With a heavy truck you don't need a WDH as there isn't trailer sway transferred to the truck. We didn't need a truck this big but decided it's worth getting less mpg for the extra safety and convenience. Lots of storage in the cab & bed keeps the trailer uncluttered. Only down side so far is that it is a tight squeeze getting through a single car garage door.
