Wiggly standard table legs 21C

What's the best way to seat the two table legs so they will be more stable? We have a new 21C. Thanks!

Replace them with a Springfield telescoping pedestal or a Lugun depending on which one suits your needs.

Unfortunately those table supports are a 1950s design and are also low quality. The major fault is that the "taper" isn't a true taper at all. If it was the legs would be rock steady.

There have been many threads on this topic. Some folks have done things like sheet metal screw the leg to the base etc. Of course this isn't an option if you want to change the table height often.

I ordered both my Escapes with the table uninstalled and built a custom support for one and installed a Springfield in the other. ETI still gives you the table supports and bases, don't know what I'll ever do with them.

Ron

Could you make a potato gun?
I used a chunk of 2x4 and a 4lb. maul to seat mine.
