Window Repair.....Help

I brought our 5.0 home from storage this evening & noticed that the frameless awning window over the kitchen sink was loose.

Upon further inspection I discovered that the two metal extending "arms" that open/close the window were bent out of shape & detached from the window track. I was able to straighten the arms but can't figure out how to re-attach the arms back onto the window track.

There's a small plastic "roller wheel" on the end of each arm, however they won't just snap back into the track.

So I'm wondering if I need to drill out the two rivets on the twist crank mechanism then slide the roller wheels back on to the end of the window track and re-rivet the crank mechanism back onto the frame.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Jim

I guess I should have searched the forum first - found this thread that answers my question: https://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f...air-18740.html

I spoke with customer service @ Lippert this morning & they sent this document which shows the procedure for replacing the "windor operator" on the frameless, awning style windows.

It really was pretty easy - took about 10 minutes. Thought I'd share with others for future reference.

Thanks Jim. That's really helpful. I just added the PDF to the Document Center

I had this happen on my 5.0, all I did was remove the two top screws and slide the window to one side inserting the roller wheels back into the track as I slid the window back into position. No drilling or riveting involved. Took 5-10 min.

Thanks for this info. I just ordered two of them. The originals got rusty enough to strip the plastic teeth on the crank handle.
