Wire hanging from ceiling of oven

Hi - We have a Suburban Elite 3 burner stove. Was going to light the pilot in the oven to learn how to do it, but when I open the oven door and look inside, there’s a copper wire hanging from the ceiling of the oven. And there’s a little flap in the ceiling that looks like where the wire is to be connected. I’ve posted a picture. Don’t know if this is a temperature sensor? I don’t see anything in the manual that explains. Do I just push the wire into the hole in the oven ceiling? Seems weird to be just hanging there - even tucked into the hole would make it easily snagged.

Since your trailer is so new, I'd check with the factory first before using that appliance....

Hi: JudyS... Looks raw to me. I don't think it'd be good cooked either. Hope you get an answer from Escape. Alf

Got a response from an email to Dustin at Escape just now. He said the wire stays along the ceiling and to push it back under the little tab to hold it up. I had thought I needed to push it into the hole made by the tab. Here’s a photo he sent in case someone else has a hanging wire.

It will be a temperature probe, not a wire. For it to work properly, make sure that the end doesn't touch the oven wall.
