Thought this might be handy if you are like me and always misplacing things. Also it might be a way to help find your Escape if it ever get stolen. Rita

Tile
I have seen the advertisements. It appears to need another tile user in the vicinity for detection. Have you tried it?

Unfortunately, it is like a subscription service and you have to buy new tiles every year. Still, an interesting idea if you have a poor memory and money to spare. As. My daughter would say, "looks like a first world solution."

Yes, making it absolutely worthless to me. It also means that I would not install the Tile app on any device of mine. This looks like a somewhat clever technical solution of little practical value for many people, but I'm sure many other people will like it.

For me it would come in handy for keys, which I tend to misplace. My current solution is to keep them tethered to me when off their hook in the house. It is rather awkward at times but since doing that, I haven't lost them.

There are other devices that don't require a mobile device application. I have a friend who uses something similar to this (http://www.amazon.com/Click-Wireless.../dp/B001BK54RM) to help her find items her memory-impaired husband has misplaced.

Yeah, Click n' Digs are great. I've used them for years. Funny I never used to need them.....

That looks like a great idea and not too expensive. The real trick is not to misplace the transmitter! If I got this set-up, I'd have to glue or velcro the transmitter to one place.
