Thanks for talking to me on here. I have talked to am solar and they use The 3 m tape and then cover it with self leveling caulk . I talked to the owner I tried to explain the fiberglass . He said they would run screws through roof . Didn't like that installation . Also talked to Oliver trailers they bolt through their outside shell with a 1/4 good size backing plate .liked that idea but we don't have 2 shells . Charlie Linda and I went and looked at a 2009 Oliver .Outside shell seemed a lot more sturdy . All this was around the time of the flying panel. We were going to have Escape install solar but backed out . I agree there is some engineering involved .looks like Escape has changed their installation of solar now . Won't help us now . Maybe I could make a nice looking backing plate , hold my breath and drill through roof , so panels are bolted through roof . By the way love our boxes for under dinette . By the time I make up my mind maybe the flexible solar technology will be better . Pat

Pat&Linda, my email (tractors1@helvetia.us) has been down since 5/17 and I'm in Europe (Austria/Germany) until 5/25. Won't be able to call my ISP until next week when I'm back in the US. Try resending your emails to my backup email (tractors1234@gmail.com)
Sorry for the oops on my end!
Charlie
