Sorry about the road reports, but they will be starting up again in August. The tire monitor system is solar powered, or can be plugged into a USB charging port. So far, so good. My only complaint is it doesn't let you know if it is disconnected from the transmitters for at least 20 minutes or so. It does immediately let you know if there is a change in pressure or temperature, but just keeps the old reading until it updates (every 6 seconds).

As to the truck, they did give me "supplier" prices (I'm from the town where their aluminum sheeting is made) but because it is an order rather than off the lot, no deals other than what ever incentive is in effect when the truck arrives. The supplier pricing knocks around $2500.00 off the MSRP.
