Just got back from trip thru southwest as and as far east as Houston and the gulf coast. Mileage was about 12.7 mpg with aggressive off road tires. There was a little tail wag the dog in strong cross winds. Fairly happy with the combo. Very steep grades into death valley required first gear downhill to hold back the trailer without overheating the brakes. Uphill I shifted down and ran at about 4k rpm without having to floorboard the throttle. When cruising on mostly flat ground at higher altitude, I ran transmission in sport mode in 4th to keep torque converter locked. On flat freeway at low altitude, I could use 5th. I watched the tach and shifted down when the torque converter unlocked. Short enough that we can park in two nose to nose parking spaces at Walmart.

We noticed that you tow a 21' with a 2016 Toyota 4Runner Limited. We have a 2013 Limited and was wondering if there are any issues that we may need to modify before we order our 21' and then find out we have to buy another tow vehicle.
