Hi Dan
I was shocked this week to learn you had retired completely. For whatever reason I did not receive the announcement. I'm happy for you but I'll greatly miss you.
BTW, after 4 years enjoying the Bigfoot you saw, I now have an Escape 17B on order with all the bells and whistles. It'll be my 5th and likely last molded fiberglass trailer. It's currently due in September but may be moved up some. If you are interested, I'll let you know so you can see it. I hope you're getting to enjoy yours more now.

Okay. It's a long story. I may have mentioned we got to the point of wanting sleeping space for two kids without needing a tent.
Casita doesn't offer anything with that unless you give up the bathroom, NO WAY.
So we were thinking about whether we could do an Escape or Bigfoot.
With either of those we would have had to wait till we had the time and money.
Then we ran across the Parkliner and its double bunk option. At a price we could afford right away and no need for a very long trip. So we went for it last November.
Then in March to my surprise I saw a 17' Bigfoot available in Baltimore, for a very low price. It turned out to be in very good shape and we decided to buy it, feeling we could take our time, try them both out and sell one, maybe next
Fall, for more than the BigFoot cost. Meanwhile we'd have the fun of trying out two new trailers.
And also meanwhile, as I did with the Casitas, I'm having fun upgrading the features on the Bigfoot, to both make it more user friendly and a more valuable trailer.
We like both, BTW, they are very nice trailers. So far I think Lynn is leaning strongly toward the Bigfoot.
So when would you like to come by? I'm taking the Bigfoot on a trip Saturday, but Thursday or Friday would work well. Or some time after I get back late next week.
Give me a call.
Walt
