I believe the 5.0 has about four feet more of living room than the 21. It is the same width as the 21. You end up with a queen bed but the bathroom is a bit smaller. All the specs for both trailers are on the Escape website. The thermal windows and extra insulation were a must have living in the PNW. We're interested in ordering a 5.0, and are debating about the different add-ons. Our #1 is the U-Shaped dinette, followed closely by A/C and thermal windows. Also considering paying up-front due to the favorable exchange rate. Is the 5.0 "roomier" than the 21, or just a bigger bed?
