- My wife, Marilyn, and I are retired school teachers. Before becoming Escape owners we camped in a 17' Casita trailer. We recently sold our 19' Escape, and will pick up a 2018 21' Escape in June, 2018. Earlier camping situations included a pop-up camper, an American Clipper RV, a travel trailer, and various tents. Our present situation serves our needs very nicely. We carry bikes behind the Escape, and carry an Eddyline double kayak and paddle boards on top of our Sequoia. While we have camped throughout the western US, we are partial to the Oregon and Northern California coastline or the high deserts and mountains of Eastern Oregon.
