- I was in the home building trades on Martha's Vineyard. The last 25 self-employed HandyWoman. I designed & built 4 homes, the last is to Age In Place in NC. I raised a couple of nice warmblood horses on my Vineyard Mini farm. Then for my safety, went to the dogs. After driving 1300+ miles(one way) to help aging parents many times(& timing a few Dog Trials on the way home at least). I built half way there, & I decided that might be a neat way to travel the country, hitting Dog Trials along the way.
