I am in the same boat as you never towed 5th wheel either. What I understand is they can adjust the pin from 46 to 56". After that no more adjustment except for high lift kit. So at 59 you are right there. I guess anything over 59 the trailer is not level going down the road which effects tongue weight and rail clearance at tailgate. Wonder how much bed would drop with the 600 to 800 lbs weight. That's the reason I am looking at 3/4 ton because of payload. Say you have 800 + 200(fuel)+ 300 people= 1300. Throw in 200 for fire wood and every thing else that campers take and your at most 1/2 ton payloads or over. May have to change truck manufacturers. Will let you know if we decide to cancel.
Good luck Roy

Our F250 bed height is 59". We have not towed a fifth wheel before and are unsure of how much clearance you need. We want to make absolutely sure we are safely towing the 5.0.
If I find out any new information I will let you know and if you could do the same I'd appreciate it. Maybe you could Email Tammy and Reace to see what they say.
If you decide not to take May deliver can you let us know? We are looking at August/September.
