- We have been travelling with a camperized 1978 Ford Econoline and it is now time to retire Lizzie (and me from my paid job) and hit the road. We want to buy an Escape (local, family run, compact and well laid out, likely the 15' Plan A with the smallest most fuel efficient tow vehicle we can find (that we can easily tie a kayak on top).
