Hey, sure miss your daily report from the road. A couple questions: the tire monitoring system you bought, Amazon shows it as "solar" powered? Did you do any particular maintenance after the big trip? Are you paying full sticker for the new truck? Thanks. Tom Gose

HI Jon. How's the new Tacoma handle your 21? I'm ok with but just ok with my 2010 Tacoma and my 21. It handled my 19 really well, the 21? Not so. No full size truck for me but kinda wish there was something in a mid a little more suitable for the load.

See you in AZ next year?

    Hi Jon,
This is Rick and Vicky Reed. We came over to see your trailer with Claire Jan 27 or 28 as we were on our way to San Diego. We have a 17 foot Casita and an Escape 21 on order. Are you still in Quartzsite? If so, could you send me the coordinates of your location so we can visit you. We will be there this weekend.

I would like to see how you ran additional wires in your trailer. I am hoping to add several mods which require additional wiring. I thought we could see how the wiring was run when we visited Chilliwack a couple of weeks ago, but due to construction we couldn't get a factory tour.

Hi Jon- This is Jerry and Maria whom you met in Death Valley. We are home now in Chilly Paso Robles. Had a good trip back. We stopped at the top of the mountain on our way out on 190 just in time to see the jets zooming down the canyon. Pretty impressive! We stopped a lot and took photos of the snow on the Sierra's near Owens Lake. Hope to see some photos of Valley of Fire from you.

No, I don't have a temperature sensor. I'd call Bogart - while I haven't talked with them, I've been told they are very helpful.

Hi Jon, after having a conversation with Tammy tonight she relayed that Reace was apprehensive about installing the TM-2025RV in our 19 because we also sent the temperature sensor probe along with it, and the monitor is a sealed unit and he doesn't know where to drill into it without potentially damaging the unit by drilling in the wrong location. We were sold the temperature sensor because batteries were located in a separate location from the monitor. Did you install a temperature sensor by chance? I can't find any info on Bogart website regarding their sensor and it's installation instructions, was hoping maybe you had some familiarity with it. Thanks for any opinion offered, Howard

Hi Jon, after ordering and sending TM battery monitor and shunt to ETI, we got a call from Kim today telling us that theIr installer didn't feel competent enough to install this unit! Is it that hard to install? Looks like I'm going to have to install it after delivery. Reace asked where I was going to mount the monitor so they could run the wiring, I wanted it located in the overhead cabinet above the passenger side of the front dinette of the 19. Do I need them to run any other wiring during the build to make it easier for me to install this? Still can't believe they can't install! Thanks, for any assistance Howard

Thanks Jon, we appreciate your input. We have ordered the 95 watt solar panel option and 2-6 volt batteries.. We are hoping to get Reace to install the TM-2025-RV battery monitor during our build. We are hoping to do a fair amount of boon docking and my wife does quite a bit of photography and needs to download to her MacBook Pro and also recharge her battery packs. Do you have any other suggestions to add to our build plan that would assist my wife's photographic needs?
    Thank you! Howard
P.S. Hopefully this one goes through....,,..my first one somehow did not post!
