If the trailer shell was aluminum it would be dented rather than shattered.

The roof on our 2013 escape 19 has sagged and water collects on the roof. The cabinet above the sink tilts lower towards the aisle and can be moved up and down a small amount.

Extreme sway

If the tow vehicle was not braking it would be really extreme sway for the trailer to jackknife into the tow vehicle. Can't visualize the trailer coming around past 90 degrees without the tow vehicle...

I do not believe they used a lift. Raised the front as far as possible (the front jack was fully extended when we picked it up). Used jack stands for saftey and a creeper for mobility on the floor....
