Thanks Sean Those areas you mention are just great. Vancouver Island has lots of bears and elk too as you probably know. We saw a herd of elk close to Telegraph Cove. Pictures were not very good...

Before going to Alaska I would check on getting across the Canadian border which is closed to non-essential traffic. It may be opened when you want to leave but I wouldn't count on it.

Hi Dave. Sounds like you live on a great spot. Some of our storm drains have fish symbols painted on them to remind people of what lies downstream, but as you say, some just ignore them.
