I too had problems with the tailgate of my 2016...

I too had problems with the tailgate of my 2016 Colorado clearing the head of my electric tongue jack. The head of the jack was easily rotated 90 degrees. Now clearance isn't a problem.

My 2016 Colorado tailgate did not clear the power tongue jack on my 21' Escape. I rotated the head of the jack 90 degrees and now all is good. I too have the Fastway WDH.
