Maybe an o-ring or washer isn't needed. The original valve from ETI had an o-ring so I just duplicated that. Its possible I wasted $1. On the other hand it hasn't leaked...

Good idea. Either an o-ring to seal the plug or a basic garden hose washer. I did this when I got tired of fighting with the valve.
