All we do is put a hose on the outlet. We have the kind of cap that you can screw on an ordinary garden hose and I just dig a shallow hole in the sand or gravel and let it drain.

That's pretty much it. Don't forget to bring a can of soup. :) The one weekend has lot's of structured events and most attendee's aim for that weekend but lot's of folks arrive days early or stay...

I think the equivalent business term would be "soft opening". Some folks are already nearby in long term areas, some show up a few days or more before the main weekend and some roll in on Friday...
