The battery placement is related to the WFCO...

The battery placement is related to the WFCO converter placement, it is located in the rear on 17/21/5.0 and in the front on the 19 models. Thus the battery placement follows.

I believe the older style front boxes with the recessed lid did not have weather-stripping but the newer raised lid boxes do have some weather stripping. I'll check mine tomorrow.

I doubt the chairs will fit, remember your batteries are located in the middle of the box, leaving only the 2 side wells and a limited space on top of the batteries.
