    17b bedding question

The original bag of this concept was the Trav-Sac. We bought one in 1989 and have used it in 3 trailers. It works very well in our 5.0. We bought a extra set of sheets (RV Super Bag still makes them on order) so we could wash in route if necessary, but the set we got with the bag is still...

Dish Pan for Standard Stainless Sink?

We have 2 of these, grey only when we bought them. One sits well in the sink for wash water the other on the counter with rinse water. they collapse well and store nicely under the oven. They fit in our 5,0 nice and snugly...

    Towing driver training

Another choice is locally here to Denver, an all services driving school with a very fun instructor. I attended some racing sessions with Michael thru the local vintage racing clubs. He does make it fun and easy. Great racing driver too. There may be something similar in your area also...

    Must haves

Some people are out in the rain, they embrace the rain, marvel at how it supports all of the life on this planet. Take in the nice sounds rain makes and the smell of fresh rain on the wet pavement, watch the flowers and grasses bath in the rain. They admire the rainbow if there is one and...

Dexter replacement After damaging 3 tires on different axles with approximately 20,000 miles, I lost all confidences in Dexter products. My trailer guy works with Dexter axles, but for 30 years has worked with Rockwell and has had much better experiences with their products. He is replacing...

    that's interesting....I find it a bit scary

Here is my moose pic. Taken out our home back garden level window about 10 years ago. They loved the dandelions and the small aspen trees in the background. They would get on their front "knees" turn their head sideways and strip a small one clean in one motion.

    Towing a 5.0 w a half ton

We tow with a 2016 F150 6' bed, seems ideal for us. We have the 3.5l twin turbo. The power figures very similar to the 5.0 engine or a little better now. The twin turbo has great torque numbers at lower RPM ideal for towing. We live at altitude so many of our trips are to 12,000' or higher. We...

What did you do for your Escape today.....

I use the center headrest on the back seat to get aligned with the tape line on the hitch adapter. I have found a spot on the ground triangulated from the landing jacks where I place a coil of yellow rope on the ground. I then open the tail gate and use the BU camera on the open tail gate to...

5.0 compatibility with my f450 flatbed

OR the easy choice is to forget all the hitch crap, remove the axels from the 5.0 and place the Escape frame on the truck as the new truck bed. Photo shop could give you an idea of how that might look.

Thanks Rock, I was thinking you may have more Sq feet but we may have more Cu feet, but the chart assumed 8' ceilings and ours is not that high. Looks like the right one for us, once again appreciate all the help! Got it ordered, 9% off today.

New 21c minor issues so far

Thanks Randy. Anyone else have an opinion on the quietest unit for a 5.0. And if a 9500 or 13,000 is the better choice? TIA.

Randal, What made you select the Coleman over the popular Houghton Rec Pro? We are looking for a much quieter replacement for our Dometic in a 5.0. THX!

Completion date in July! What do we need for 1st time use?

One thing I see a lot is make sure you know, and allow for, your trailer to make a tighter arc than your tow vehicle. Trailers do not follow in the tracks of the TV, but cut the corner and take the shortest path around a turn. Especially on right hand turns. When practicing in a lot place a cone...
