Just checked the weather for the umpteenth time....beach hazard warning going on. High tides, possibly high surf and rip tides. NO body surfing y'all! Looks likes and cold wet weekend ��

On my 2014 5.0TA the cover slides just a bit then pulls down. Took me awhile to figure it out LOL!

So I decide to check my batteries today (2- 6v)...I could not get the cell cover off of the battery on the right side. Seems that the cable connector for the main red is not letting me open the "keeper" enough. Has anyone else had this problem? Wondering if I have to take the whole connection off?

Funny...on my last outing I ended up cutting the wires. One minute the alarm would be going crazy then it would reset, back and forth. As I had no propane on I also thought I had messed up the wiring, but nothing? Hope someone has an idea.

For those of you who like canoes, you may want to look at Hornbeck Boats. A 12' canoe is about 21 lbs! Several of my full timing friends have them and love them.

The easiest way to find out if the 12v system is off... Do not be plugged in, look at your propane detector. Is the green light off or on?

Years ago I was offered a very good job in the DFW area. After some time I researched the weather up there....that's why I live here! What happened Tues night is so very unusual for San Antonio, hope it's another life time before it happens again!

I carry a small mirror to see the other side, easy peasy!

We live close to the airport, yep baseball size here too. Thank goodness the Dream is under cover in an area that was not hit. The house is okay, but some damage to the vehicles....nothing like some parts of town though!

Mine did that once... I turned off the city water and turned on the faucets to let out pressure. Then I turned on the water pump and let the water run for a couple of minutes. Never had it happen again. But whenever I'm "hooked up", I do check the tank level periodically.

Wondering how they found out the coax was shorted out. I have antenna service in the loft, but not in the dinette, very frustrating! I will have a chance to connect to cable in a couple of weeks, guess I'll see what happens.

Thanks Alf, that worked! Hint....do NOT stand in front of the valve when doing this, it's like a fire hose coming out. Not that I would personally know:banghead:

Was going to put in a new kitchen faucet today and got a big surprise....! I am NOT connected to water, there is some in the FW tank, but the pump is NOT on. I turn on the water to release any possible pressure and water just flows out like I'm hooked up?! Can anyone tell me why this is...
