Not in the market, but looks like a good opportunity for someone - is that $10,000 CAD or USD?

Hi: jjdeluca... Yes it's CAD and a good opportunity. It needs work but like all fiberglass trailers it can be done. It is towable, but could use new tires. It's chalky looking but if you stood outside all those years so would you. The fridge and axle have been replaced and it has received all the necessary major maintenance. :) Alf

Hi: All... Here's some pics I took today. Inside and out it needs a scrubbing but a good compounding will make it shine.
More pics to follow. Alf

Great deal

I'd bought years ago a 15 year old 16' Casita. I spent a lot of time and effort, & a little money to get it back in shape. Sweat equity. Used it for years and sold it for more than I paid for it, but it was a fair deal to the buyer. Chalky gelcoat can be made to look new, with some sweat equity. It's the bones (running gear, frame, floor, axle, fiberglass shell) that are what matters, at least to me.
This Escape 17 could be an excellent "fixer upper".

10,000.00 Canadian Dollars =

7,372.0222 US Dollars. today, 3/1/24

Indeed, that looks like it would be an excellent refurb project for someone. Price seems very fair...especially if the axle and fridge have already been recently replaced.

I wonder if the early 80's Ford Thunderbird hiding in the garage was used as the tow vehicle? That would have been quite the combo to see rolling down the road...

Hi: All... More inside shots!!!
Top pic was taken like I always do but got put on sideways.

Hi: Selkirk... The trailer was pulled a lot by a late 40's Chev Torpedo back sedan. The Bird couldn't really do it. Alf

Hi: All... Can a Mod. turn my fridge shot vertically please? It's upright on my comp. but not the forum. Another vertical shot gone sideways!!!
Here's the last few interior shots and the spider cracking caused by the tire blowout a few years ago. :( Alf

Surprised that it's not sold already.

If it was out west it would be in my yard by now! :eggrv:

You'd have had to arm wrestle me for it. :) I'd have bought it for my sister, she's too old to still be sleeping in a tent on the ground when she goes fishing.
