Another thought, for another approach. This TV thing in a trailer is newish to us.
We have used a couple DVDs, but for the most part just download movies and shows to my small notebook computer. When we do play a DVD, I have a (very) small DVD player that connects to my computer. This combo works great.
I like having components for most things separate. Just like multi-task tools, the individual components often don't seem to be as good as individual ones, and if one part fails, the whole thing is often shot.
As I always bring a computer, so to through this DVD player in the bag is no big deal.
If I was to look for any downfall to this setup, is that it takes a minute or so to set up, and there is no remote, as one controls the DVD player through the computer screen.
