20 degrees overnight

We have an upcoming 2 night stay where the overnight temp is forecast to be in the 20s. Any advice on keeping tanks and lines from freezing? Should we run trickles through taps as we have done in the past at home?

I would winterize at those lows.......running water would mean pump running.....

We’ll be on city water, so shouldn’t need pump. Not really equipped to winterize (no compressor to blow out lines).

Disconnect and drain water hose and you will be fine if you are heating the trailer. Don't open black or gray water drains until you are sure the gate valves aren't frozen.

3 options

1. Stay winterized and use jugs of water for cooking and toilet. Freeze in your black & grey are not crucial as long as they're not filled. Drain when thawed.

2. Use your full system and take your chances. If it's not a long freeze and you have heat inside, might be OK. Toilet flush valve is most susceptible to freeze damage. Open doors to allow heat to circulate.

3. Do 1, and use a solar shower bag (stove heated water) for showering in your bathroom. I've done that while in winter transit.

The other big variable besides night time temps is the day time temp. If in the 50s, say, during the day you have little to worry about.

This is why the e-z- winterizing option is nice....
