After 8 years of full time travel (4 in my Escape) I have decided to settle down again. I recently purchased a home in Cedaredge, CO and no longer need my beloved Escape. This trailer had so many changes made during production they designated it a Model C. It is very close to a B but no bathroom. That area contains a Porta-potti and lots of storage. I'm sure some will be concerned about no "proper bathroom" but I and many others who spend a lot of time in small trailers find the tiny shower too cramped to be practical and prefer to use the campground facilities.

This trailer was lifted by Escape 4" and has 30" tires for lots of rough road clearance. It also has added armor to protect the bottom and rear for mild off highway use. Despite the reference to off-highway use it actually has seen little more about 500 miles off the pavement and remains in tight rattle-free condition. It is in very good condition and all equipment and appliances work just fine. Would post photos but my app wont let me. Asking $17,500 but will consider other good offers. Please email to acebrown at vci dot net for more info and photos.

I have a lot of photos and detailed description at expeditionportal.com. Do a search for escape 17 and you should find my thread.

Cool, Cedaredge!

I take my 17b there almost every summer to visit the folks, it is a very nice place.

I believe I met you there a couple of years ago. I was parked beside the highway getting some beer when we talked about our trailers. I was on my way up to Grand Mesa.

I remember you, that is still the only other Escape I have seen. It is a great trailer! The mods made were impressive, definitely a good off the beaten path trailer.

I mentioned going to expedition portal in a previous post and do a search for "escape 17". I was just told that does not work. It worked for me previously. But if you go to portal, click on menu, then forums and then do the search it will be listed a few lines down. You should not have to register just to look. Of course you can also just email me for more info.

Bryan, thanks for the link. I would have provided one if I knew how.

If anyone wants a timely responce from me or are requesting photos please email me at acebrown at vci dot net.

Thanks,
Ace

I have a pm in my inbox that I can't get to open. Accessing this site on my iPhone is darn poor. Please address questions to my email listed above.

Thanks - Ace

This great trailer is still available but with spring just around the corner interest should pick up. Noticed a few people posted wanted ads for an Escape 17, well here it is. ;-)

Recently sold to a young man from Ontario, Canada. Nice that this trailer is returning to its home. I have really enjoyed my Escape and contacts made with other Escapees.

Recently completed a 19 day camping trip in Arizona and Nevada in my small off-road trailer with roof top tent. Missed the comfort of my Escape but it could never have traveled where we went.

Happy trails to all Escapees.
