I'm writing to ask if your 19' Escape is still available. I currently have a 2011 single axle Escape 5.0 5th wheel and my new truck has bed rails too high to pull it safely. I'm located in Lewes, DE. If it's still available after we talk I can come to to look at the trailer and hopefully buy it.

Thank you,
Bob

I have not weighed my trailer specifically, but Escape lists current E19 trailers as 3150 lbs dry. My trailer is an older model and those were lighter weight, usually reported as just under 3000 lbs.

There's a good thread here with real world weights
https://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f51/trailer-weights-in-the-real-world-43010.html

It seems fully loaded E19's will be 3300-3800, of course depending on many factors.

I've towed with the following vehicles:

2007 Toyota 4Runner (with V8)
2017 Toyota 4Runner

2014 Lexus LX570 (current tow vehicle)

All of them have worked out well, the V8 vehicles did better in the mountains of course.

Hello. My wife and I were wondering if you still have your Escape 19 for sale? Please message us at 319-651-4014 and let us know. Thank you

Sale Interest

If your 2014 Escape 19 is still for sale, please expand on the water damage near entrance...like the source and extend of damage.

Thanks...Keith

During an excursion out west, we encountered snow, and took our shoes off inside the trailer. The snowmelt pooled right inside the door and went unnoticed during the trip :banghead:

Upon returning home, floor felt weak in that area and I realized what happened. I cut out the affected section of floor (maybe 8" x 18") and replaced with a piece of PVC board (similar to deck boards). Screwed and sealed it, then glued a piece of industrial style carpeting to it. I added a couple pictures of the entrance in my album (linked in first post). I also replaced the weatherstripping to the entrance door at the same time.

The flooring substructure/supports were unaffected, all water damaged material was removed. I do regret not taking better pictures to show the before and after. I debated replacing the entire vinyl flooring, but I was content with having carpet at the entrance.

Thank you for the additional information… We are interested in your camper and would like to discuss over the phone. Please call me at 540-207-7241 at your earliest convenience.
