2017 17B 4cu ft fridge option narrower aisle

Does anyone know how the freezer sizes compare between the 3 and 4? I tried to look on the website, but wasn't able to find the answer.

So, the good news is that you get a little more storage with the 4.

We have a 2015 model 17, and find that among the four of us who camp together regularly, a couple of us have to exercise a bit more care sliding into and out of the dinette. (translation: old, stiff backs)
With that in mind, the extra projection of the 4.0 frig. should be something to evaluate.

From the photos, I think that Escape made the cabinet about 3" deeper, so the aisle is less than three inches narrower (since the door of the RM2354 sticks out). The dimensions given (31" with RM2354 and 27" with RM2454) are probably between the cabinets (not the door face to the counter), and rounded out to the nearest inch.

The concern for me wouldn't be the distance from refrigerator door to galley counter, but access to the curbside seat of the dinette past the table, given the corner of the deeper cabinet in the way. That has always been a challenge in narrow-body trailers with a dinette like this. It would work better is the refrigerator were not right beside the dinette, but while fitting in a bathroom, two seating/sleeping areas, and a refrigerator taller than the countertop, there are not many alternatives.

Luckily, I'm going with the permanent bed, so dinette access won't be a concern. With the larger fridge, I'll definitely be getting the outside hatch for easier access to the curb-side under-bed area.

I saw the 4 cf frig this weekend in a very nice new casita. Lots of nice room but getting in/out of that seat would be worrisome.

I asked about the space to get into passenger side dinette and was told that they were going to cut the table down a little for ease of access. They will include a board to be use when made up as a bed. I will be using as a bed so won't be a problem for me. If I decide to use the small dinette for bed instead it will be easy to use as the table does slide for access also.
