We visited ETI last week to finalize our build sheet and ran into Rease who told us of the changes. Rease was nice enough to bring out a 19 with the new options so we could take a close look. One other change in 2019 with the maple interior is that the headliner is a lighter color. Not the existing tan color more like an off white shade.

We decided to go with the new maple interior and the new darker floor, but still chose custom formica and custom fabric. Our 21 completion date is March 25. Dealing with ETI has been great. It’s going to be a long winter waiting until we can pick up our trailer.

As much as I'm OK with the standard interior it does seem to make sense at some point to offer another interior design. After all, offering a product that still looks the same as one you offered 10 years ago probably isn't the best sales tactic.

New doors with the frosted glass look nice. I would hope that the wood does darken to match the walls etc. I would find it jarring if it doesn't.

The only thing that I don't like is the lack of a back splash. To me it looks unfinished. But maybe that's just my old fashioned tastes.

I like everything except having to wait for the cabinet doors to become the correct colour.

Maybe this was a nudge by the “Strategic Partner” or giving Reace enough time to make this kind of change.

These are exciting developments.

I’m not too sure how MDW will feel about the maple interior, but I do like the dark counter real well, and the new flooring works well also, especially with the dark counters. Having a high rise faucet, looks to be a good thing; dunno. Waterproof paneling is good, but would like a backsplash with matching buttons. Hopefully, the maple trim will match better.

The framed mirror? Are mirrors going to be standard?

As for me, I like it all!

Agree that the backsplash needs to return. How would they seal the joint between the counter top and the vinyl wall liner? Seems any spills drain into the cabinets real quick.

Perhaps a piece of 1/4 round or inside corner bedded in caulking?

The wall between kitchen counter and bed turned white. Wondering how the other side of the wall looks.....

I like the maple.
Was all of the wood panelling also changed to Maple, cannot really tell from the video?
Don't really like the white headliner, I prefer the cream color in the older Escapes.
I agree that a short backsplash is a definite requirement.
Formica and flooring look nice.

I'd like to see some still pictures.

A tip: just because it's video doesn't mean stuff has to move or the camera has to move.

Love the new cabinet doors !!! So tired with Oak , maple even birch ? Like the new counters and flooring . Need back splash !! The vinyl would look better not so white . Please , please the upholstery needs to go ! Maybe a few new choices ? Pat

I think all 2018 Escape 19s have mirror on the closet door. Not sure when they started doing that.

I did notice the lights are different than my April 2018 unit.
