Well, I got a very pleasant phone call from Crystal last Firday. Our completion date had already been moved up from August '16 to July, and now she was asking if we wanted to move our completion date to APRIL! I said OF COURSE! But then she said that our Build Sheet would be due on January 4th. With Christmas approaching, family coming in, and our own plans for the week before New Years, we had to get moving.
Fortunately, we had it pretty much complete. The great people on this forum, your willingness to share your experiences and recommendations, made the Final Sheet a simple matter. Debbie and I made one final review and I finalized the Sheet with Crystal. WHAT A THRILL! Plus, we now will be camping in the spring, not the end of summer!

Anyway, On this Christmas Eve, I'm going to try to post my Build Sheet. Things are pretty much etched in stone, so I don't plan on changing anything at this point, but after we get the trailer, I will try my hand at a few modifications. Don't know know what they'll be yet, I like the product pretty much the way it rolls out of the factory!

Bet you are happy to get that done!

They offered to move ours up many months and we declined. No way we could be that fast like you! We ran out of time on our options.

That will be so nice to have it in spring.

Thank-You Everybody! I'm trying to post my Sheet, but like others, having trouble with my skill level, or lack thereof.......
I get to manage accounts, I'm able to browse and select my file, but when I select "upload", I get an "upload fail" message. Any ideas?

I just think you're terribly brave to even post a build sheet to give everyone the opportunity to pick it apart and re-hash the options. Like everyone else, I'm sure you've put a great deal of thought into making it your trailer to match your camping style. ;)

Thanks Karen, I'm going to put it away for awhile. I'll try again later when I have more time.

Cheers, and Merry Christmas to All!

Looks good to me. Maybe that's because you have a half dozen things that I absolutely agree with and people always like things that agree with their own choices. :)

There's always a ton of differing views on what's important but I think if you found yourself in in a campsite with the options you've chosen you'd be pretty darn comfortable and happy.

Glad things are moving along faster than expected.

Ron

Steve, your build sheet is very close to ours. On the exterior light, have you asked for an interior switch? Will the light be up high? If so, you may not be able to reach it.

Looks good, Steve. Sounds like you knew what you wanted and got a great opportunity to get it earlier. Congrats. Are you picking it up right away when ready?

OOOOO, congrats! :thumb:

Gives me hope that maybe ours will be moved up sooner than the end of next Dec.

Steve and Debbie,

Do you plan to use your dinette as a bed? If so, you might want to consider getting two filler boards instead of the one you have listed. I plan to use my u-shaped dinette for lounging and it'll be a bed some of the times. Having two filler boards gives that sleeper more room. I don't plan to even bring the table with me, although we'll get it so it matches the countertop (more stuff to store in the attic!).

Thanks Ron, we really liked most of the options on the list. Having them done at time of build, we hope will give us a good starting point. Thanks for the endorsement!

I suggest you ask for dark brown trim on your countertops, it will change the whole look of your stock floor/countertop/cushion combo. I did that in BlackJack as my 19 with stock was too bland and I had to cover the floor. It is a low cost or free change.

Yes Cathy, We got the interior switch for the light over the box. A great idea from this forum! We're having it wired to the same switch as the exterior curb side light. We figure we will only have it on for very short times for set-up and retrieval, otherwise all off.
