Hi: paulw... Or wishing anyone to see inI had a front window in our 17B... Don't miss it with the 21. There are plenty of opening windows for ventilation & we don't stand there wishing we could see out.
Do any of the 21' Escape owners miss the front window?
The only time we opened the rock guard on the 19 was to clean the window when washing the trailer. We are not getting one on the 21 and don't suspect we will miss it .
We like our front window also-one of our friends has a 19ft. He ordered a 21 after he saw our window. He had seen one without the window and didn't like the feel. I think the more light the better! We made a headboard to go behind the bed for a more finished look, so don't miss the shelf.
Just like the u-shaped dinette(which we chose), all a matter of feel and taste. That's what makes the Escape different-choices.

Exactly right. Some folks are going to want the window, others will prefer the shelf. And I think that is exactly the way it ought to be. It is just like the U-shaped dinette. But the wonderful thing is that Escape is able to accommodate all these different preferences.Of course you're referring to a 19 and not a 21, but this is still proof of what many have said here: It's a matter of personal taste. I will most likely leave my rock guard up constantly, unless there's a bad storm or the trailer is in storage. I love the light and the view.
I couldn't imagine not having a window over our head. We have ours open most of the time while we sleep, loving the fresh air over our faces. We both love cool sleeping temps, especially if the air is fresh, all while we snuggle on our comfy new mattress, while buried in a layer of cozy bedding.
Outside temps were near freezing last night, and my only issue with the window open was that I think I may need a nightcap to cover my bare skull.![]()
