60+ day maiden voyage in a 21, newbie thoughts and tips

Where did you purchase the double step? My 5.0 TA with lifted axle presents a pretty tall first step. I think this is just what I have been looking for.

Rick, as an alternative, if you don't want to do any cutting/removal/modifications, you could use a folding step platform instead. We have a Stromberg Carlson with adjustable height. Very sturdy and stable too, since it sits on the ground. We find the double step mounted to the trailer results in a bottom step that is too low to the ground.
