Acrylic windows for the 19 ft

This type of question is best answered by ETI. Phone calls are often the quickest way of getting an answer.

If we order acrylic windows do I also have to add acrylic kitchen window for the extra cost? thanks
It depends on the model, can't add the kitchen window if you have the acrylic in the 17b. They are longer and won't fit. Not sure about the other models.

I just did 4 weeks in a rented LDV-9 out of Christchurch, NZ. It is a Chinese knockoff of a Ford Transit and it had the Dometic acrylic windows. They were very quirky and problematic. Great to have a roll down shade and a pull up screen, however much of the time it was a hassle getting the screen to close square without gaps. Worse was trying to get the shade to roll up without binding and having to go outside to piste the shade back into its track.
It seems like Escape is using this Dometic window as when talking with Arctic Tern they said they were not supplying their windows to them.

I have a friend who installed Arctic Tern windows and he has not had any issues like we had.

I have acrylic windows in our E21. I don’t understand this sentence. Could you explain what you are describing in more detail?

Question for "Ron in BC" - do you work for ETI?
No, but having seen their facilities when they were one step out of building in a chicken coop, a background in f.g. as well as designing and taking manufactured products to market with all the attendant problems I guess that I have more of an appreciation and understanding on what a great job they've done to get where they are now.

Acrylic here. I've gone over them pretty thoroughly and they seem up to the task. The whole blinds and screens system is a bit more complicated and fancy than I tend to prefer. I just did a quick cross country trip to pick the new to me rig up. I do a fair amount of long distance travel in my RVs and to over night in any acceptable spot is the norm. With that go brightly lit parking areas. I was very pleased to find the blinds completely block out the bright lights. I stepped outside after dark to see how they blocked the inside lights. With my lights on inside you couldn't tell from outside. The door window and temporary roof vent with no air conditioner were the only areas letting light in/out, both easily remedied. Not simple and not bullet proof so a little care and diligence when using are called for but to me the benefits definitely warrant the effort.

I was able to walk through an E23 with acrylic windows a few months ago and was quite impressed.

After seeing them in person, it would have been a no-brainer to spec them on my E19....had the option been available at the time. My trailer is configured with sliders combined with a split venting frameless rear window. Though not perfect, I think acrylic windows are an overall superior design to either of the older styles. My only big concern would be long-term parts availability.
