Follow these instructions if the ends of the awning lead rail are not fully retracting into the awning box.
First make sure the center of the lead rail is closing properly and is tight to the awning box. If after pushing on the lead rail it seems loose, you will need to reset the motor. These instructions are found on page 9 of the Operating Manual.
Assuming it is just the ends that need to close tighter, you will need a 7/16" wrench or socket and a rubber mallet (or similar). In some cases, if only one side is loose, you still must adjust both sides. If you don't adjust both sides, the lead rail will track off center and not close properly. Damage may occur.
Open the awning approximately 3/4 of the way and switch the awning power off. Loosen the nut shown in the photo below and slide each arm 1/8" toward the end of the lead rail. (they can be tight...hence the rubber mallet) Tighten the nut and close the awning to check the adjustment. If it is still loose, repeat the steps until the ends are snug.
Hope that helps
