Any 17' or 19' Escape owners in or around Texas?

I think I have a photo of it. Let's see if I remember how to attach it ...

I saw the yellow Ram w/ the 5-er. What a rig!! And what terrific people the owner and her handy parents are!! Dad Gene gave me a detailed tour and was willing to answer any question I had. He also showed me all the features he added on when daughter Dayna brought it to visit. My favorites are the leveling blocks with handles. I don't have my trailer yet, but I want a set of those blocks!!!

The best thing I learned--other than it's a high quality trailer--is how easy it is to hook up to a 5th wheel. I've been a wee bit afraid of considering them, but not anymore. Dayna says it's a breeze to tow, and even turning around is not anything to worry about.

Bottom line...I've got yet another option to consider: 17', 19', or 5.0??? I even walked away with a brochure on the 5.0.

Thanks so much, Gene, Fay, and Dayna. It was a great visit!

Hi: Wannaescape... I keep telling people how easy they are to handle!!!
Alas I'm not "Mellow Yellow" but "Tickled Pink" with "Our Escape Hatch". The 5.0's are the longest of the family line from Escape unless you require a straight trailer then I don't think you can beat the 19'er. Alf

Alf, don't tell me you drive a pink truck and have pink stripes on your 5.0. If so, please post picture! I'm a little ole lady who will be towing solo--except for the pup. Length is still a slight worry for me. Just have to work it out and take the plunge in the next month or two.

Don't forget--I want to see a pink rig!

Ok, here's the story of how Dayna's 5er got its yellow strips. Due to her work schedule I did some of the interface with Tammy & Rease during the build process. By some quirk of fate I called the day before Tammy ordered the graphics. As you have guessed by now, Dayna likes yellow. I wanted to surprise her with the yellow striping so I asked if they would order yellow to match her truck. Tammy wisely said she would but needed Dayna's permission. To match the color Tammy stopped by the local Dodge dealership to get the correct yellow.

I was very impressed with Tammy's effort to accommodate a new customer.
