Anyone tried a Windmill for power?

It might be interesting to attach it to the tow vehicle hitch to stop any vibrations in the trailer.

I heard from a lot of people this time last year that down south there was no lack of wind…and dust covering solar.

For us Canadians there is Vevor in the Vancouver area that sells these things and ships for free. They carry a bunch of great hard to get a deal on stuff like diesel heaters, rv awnings, etc.

They have a few that are reasonable I think keeping in mind the Canadian dollar and the free shipping.

Reasonable in cost

Not terribly reasonable in size or ease of use. A 3 foot diameter (near 1 meter) ball vertical axis turbine to either store or reassemble isn't convenient unless you're staying in one place for a good, long spell. More or less the same with a typical 3 bladed wind turbine.
I want to believe, but solar seems so much more easy and convenient.
