Bathroom Faucet Aerator

Folks:

Has anyone replaced or removed for cleaning the aerator in the bathroom faucet. We have a 2015 15B and I can't tell if the aerator is removable or not. Our faucet is all plastic and I don't want to damage it if the aerator is not removable. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, our standard gauge in our fresh water tank is not reading more than 2/3 full even when water is running out of the tank inlet. I have gotten use to the black & gray water tank gauges being inaccurate to to possible deposits/debris on them, but this would not seem to be an issue with the fresh water tank. We have the foam insulation on our tanks, so the cure may worse than putting up with the inaccuracy. Thoughts?

Further research indicates that the faucet is likely a Phoenix Catalina PF222241. The aerator does screw in. Has anyone found a source for replacement aerators? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Soak the faucet aerator in some white vinegar overnight and then scrub w/a toothbrush. It should come apart as well and then you can clean each part...it shouldn't need replacement. Push the guts out from the bottom (the side away from the threads towards the threads) and then the parts often come apart further. don't force anything just do the soak instead.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try a through cleaning as the replacement aerator does not appear to be readily available.

Lowes and possibly Home Depot have a selection of aerators with different threads and flow rates. They usually have a board with various threads to allow you to check yours to see which thread size and pitch it is.
