Does anyone know of a taller diverter sink faucet? The standard one is really hard to use. Also, any source for a silicone shower hose?

I believe the ETI-supplied bathroom faucet is this model from Valterra/Dometic:

If you look at the Valterra catalog, they offer several other faucet styles that should easily swap in place, but suspect they all use the same diverter mechanism:

It might be tricky to find other lavatory-style faucets with a shower diverter. My guess they would have to be sourced from RV or marine specific vendors, as the use case would be specific for wet bath applications.

I’d like a taller diverter faucet in the bathroom also. It’s hard to find something. There is this:

but it would require some adaptation, and the way my plumbing comes in by the faucet, I’m not sure it’s doable. I haven’t even figured out a reasonable way to add a shut off, so I just carry a couple of caps to shut it off at the faucet if ever needed.

Another option might be to switch to a bathroom pull-out style faucet that can double as a shower head...something like this:

This would eliminate the need for a diverter altogether. I believe this what Oliver does in their wet-baths.

I’ve thought about it, but with most of those you would be redoing water temp at each shut off. Some have an on / off button, but those are momentary, so you would always have to push it to keep water flowing.

I have a positive water shutoff on my diverter that works very well. So I’m still looking. I’ve even thought about a faucet riser block.

I’ve been ruminating about this for a year now. The original faucet is hardly adequate for hand washing, let alone brushing teeth. I’ve located diverter valves and various faucet types but am having trouble mating parts to work in such a small space. I did look at pull-out faucets but the length of hose needed to reach as high as the existing makes it clumsy to put back, and a huge loop under the sink when stored. Still working on it and should be a good winter project. When I figure it out, I’ll post pix and part numbers.

I don’t have 3D printing, but I’ve thought about some kind of faucet riser, then any stock diverter faucet could work.

If you go with a faucet with a standard aerator, this diverter will work. I wanted to replace my Escape supplied faucet with a better one, but discovered that the handles on the one I chose would not clear the bathroom wall in my 2017 21C.

While Amazon lists it as no longer available, I suspect there are other sources such as the manufacturer.

The problem with those devices is they are a clunky solution that just puts stuff more in the way in my opinion. I personally don’t want to add a diverter to the outlet of a non diverter faucet. It would allow a taller faucet if someone wanted to take that approach.

Definitely better quality. Would need plugs for the two hole faucet, and have to drill for the single hole, and figure out what to do with the 10’ hose under the sink. Everything has pluses and minuses.

So, I’m thinking of adding spacers (maybe PVC pipe) under the faucet to raise it a bit. As far as the stiff shower hose, I’m going to cut close to both ends with the fittings and insert a length of silicone tubing with zip ties or hose clamps to keep it together. Stay tuned.

We replaced our hose on day one with a stainless steel hose. It loops and hangs above the sink. It does make some black marks on the wall when traveling, but they are easily removed when cleaning. We also mounted a holder above the window (21C) using a command strip. This seems to be a much better angle for the spray.

The Oxygenetix unit comes with a much higher quality hose compared with the ETI-supplied parts. I'm hoping that it still fits in the existing wall-mount holder.

I always travel with the shower head placed inside the sink, which should minimize the risk of the new hose marking up the wall.

I've never found that to be the case. BUT, I've only changed out the faucet in the kitchen on two different all molded towables.. Always used something on 4" centers and have never had a problem.
