Bathroom window

We would certainly do it again. If you have only one 12v battery and have a husband who really cracks down on the amount of DC power used in provincial parks (and that includes the bathroom fan), you appreciate cracking the window from time to time. And as others have said, the natural light is also appreciated.

I prefer the natural light and air provided and the savings provided while boondocking. I leave my bathroom window open (at least a crack) most of the time, as it helps with condensation and ventilation.

We saw what they are now using for the bathroom window and it does not match the frameless windows in colour at all. I quickly took a picture of one trailer parked in the lot and it looks way worse than the photo shows.

I am not sure now that I would want this ugly duckling of a window on the side of my trailer.

I think I would ask if I could a kitchen window install and add my own frosting inside later.

You are right about that . It would look great with sliders . Not so much with the frameless ! Pat

Actually, our trailer which was just completed, has the newest window that is being used. I know, because I asked about it when we saw our build photos. It is the same window that is on the new model 21 NE. You can look at the photos and see the bathroom window. It is thermal and opens from the top, rather than opening across the middle.
It does look lighter to me and was told it isn't tinted. Our salesperson sent us photos and while I think it may not blend as well as some previous windows, I think it looks nice and it's also nice that it's thermal. Apparently, the previous windows that were installed are no longer available. That's what I was told.

The bath and optional E21 stack window are both non thermal single frameless glass. The double pane thermal frameless were separating so Escape went with single pane, that is the difference.

The newest window is insulated (thermal) and opens at top, not in the middle. Have had conversations regarding it just yesterday with our salesperson. And photos sent to me today. The bathroom window in the new 21NE is the same window as in our new 21, just completed. I posted on the FB page about it. I had asked if anyone had seen the window like ours. No one had. But we will be seeing it on new builds.

I'm trying to post a pic. I hope this works. The color appearance changes depending on angle of photo. Our salesperson sent me additional photos showing that. I think it's nice that it's thermal, and that it opens at top. We had a window in our Casita and we really liked having it.

If you use a cleaning wand you can pass it and your hose through the window vs. dragging it through the door and your living area.

mine won't open far enough to get a hose through it, the screen gets in the way.

thankfully on the 21, the bathroom door is /right/ next to the trailer door so there's no dragging the hose.

Does it depend on the window? The small bath window that I retrofitted has a screen that slides up only a small amount with no obvious way to easily remove it.

thankfully on the 21, the bathroom door is /right/ next to the trailer door so there's no dragging the hose.

yeah, thats what mine looks like, and the screen won't slide up past those screws that hold those plastic clips in place

John I think it is the same window . I saw those plastic springs and thought ours was missing . Our window and screen stay up fine .What if you took those off ? Pat

Ours is identical to Pat's and works the same. Wonder if we don't have the springs either.
