No, my first post was merely an introduction to the forum. I think most people post trailer and tow vehicle. My second post was in just an answer to not sure about the plan just to say that there was some thought and testing put into the possible use of my Subaru. I noticed that there was another inquiry about towing a 15 with a Subaru earlier and I thought my input might be helpful. I know it will either work or it won't. I will certainly post final results once I pick up my new trailer and try it out.

There are so many things to consider when deciding to purchase a towable. The biggest (to me) is layout. You can ALWAYS change tow vehicles, but the trailer is yours until you decide on something else. Tow vehicles are found on every street corner, a custom ETI build... get in line!

It's not bed size (I'm a single traveler), but where is the dinette? That decided it for me. I absolutely, positively need to sit at a rear dinette and enjoy the scenery while having a meal inside the trailer due to inclimate weather (or bugs). I know what my tug looks like! And as nice as it is... that view gets old. I typically back into a site, over the Pacific Ocean or over a stream/lake, etc. THAT'S what I want to see, why should my bed get the best view when I'm always eyes-shut-tight there?

Yup, I agree, I've started looking at the 21 too:. Since I'm single and the 21 is as wide as a double but as long as a queen - that might workout for me as I'm tall and have to sleep cattywhompus on a full size bed.

I've also noticed several photos of the oven option and wonder for those who have one how much do they use it? I'm GF and bake my own bread and other things so it could keep me out on the road longer, finding GF way rural is very hard.

Oh and I'm way way green with envy that your in my beloved NW;D

I've been looking at small trailers for quite sometime. I'm 63 soon to be 64 single female, I've lots of experience towing sailboats and horse trailers, so I feel semi-educated on the towing aspect. I like the idea of a fiberglass trailer but have questions and concerns. I also keep going back to the Nash 17k because of it's boondocking capabilities and large holding tanks.

I hope to return to the NW where I will spend most of my time and head south for the too cold winters. I'm not sure if I'll be "fulltiming" but I might be.

I'll be reading all these very informative forms to learn.

Not that I'm any kind of expert on the subject, but a Nash and an Escape are apples and oranges to me. One is a sealed fiberglass trailer, and the other is a conventional one. As conventional trailers go, there's nothing wrong with the Nash, but a lightweight fiberglass trailer should only be compared to something similar, like a Casita or a Scamp.
