We have a beep which is louder outside than in and sounds like it is on top of our 21' Escape, maybe near the air conditioner or exhaust fan. Can't figure out what it is. Our battery switch is off for the winter. It has been beeping for a couple of months now. ??

Didn't know there were such things! Not sure where they are but will try to figure it out. Thank you!!

I found mine the first winter we owned it from the beeping. Put your awning out a foot or two and it is in the middle of the awning. The part away from the trailer. White box about 5 inches long. If I remember right it slides to the right to remove it.

Thank you!! That helps a lot! The cold has me putting the task off but this will allow me to expedite the process. Thanks for your kindness.

I guess you checked your Co2 detector first? It should be somewhere high on the wall. MaxFan can also beep. Those sounds won't be louder outside, though.

If you have an awning, open it about 5 feet. The beeping could be in a small enclosure along the edge of the awning underside. You need to replace the batteries in that enclosure.

If you have an electric awning, that's probably the source. It was for me awhile back. Tap it to the left and it will come lose from the track and then you can replace the batteries. Good luck.

We had the same issue when we first used our 2019 21ft. We had left the vent cover up in a fierce rain storm, and the mechanism got wet. I can't remember right now how we fixed it, but made certain to NEVER leave the vent cover up during a rainstorm.
