Better Bathroom Faucet

Do you have a tiny wet bathroom faucet or a normal sink in both kitchen and bathroom?
Our faucet was just the standard cheap plastic one. We finished our install and testing yesterday. Came out great, I’m really happy with the quality of the faucet.

While the stock one is a cheap faucet for sure we never use it so there really is no advantage to upgrading. In fact, I wish we went without the sink in the bathroom as it just takes up space and a basket would be better for holding things.

Now, the galley sink tap, I definitely put in a nice one there, it gets used a lot.

Different strokes, that’s the beauty of these campers, lots of options. I like keeping my beard shavings and toothpaste spit away from the cooking area 🤣🤣. In the 21C there is a rather “large” bathroom, so we feel like we have plenty of room with the sink.

Yes, your bath is a bit larger. I mostly shave (once every week or two) and brush my teeth outside. I like the outdoors. And if I need to use the galley sink that is no problem, you should see some of the other stuff that gets washed and prepped there that is a lot more yucky.

With the vast majority of camping I have done in the past, backcountry type stuff, there was no such thing as a sink. You used your cooking pot to heat water once in a while.

Yep, to each their own. I prefer cooking and socializing outside too. Weird, eh?

This new bath faucet is the first bath faucet replacement that has me thinking about a change. All of the other sink faucet mods for me, don’t seem helpful, but I’m sure are enjoyed by their originators and some others. Everyone has differing wants. Since I made my faucet riser, I’ve been quite happy with the setup. So for now, I’ve just left the faucet on a wishlist likely to be ignored for awhile. I do think it’s a nice bath faucet for an Escape.

I also like the faucet style, although I have a slight concern about the height of the neck and nozzle to the small sink basin. It looks like it may cause a bit more spalshing outside of the basin.

It is a thought I had also. My riser just makes the existing faucet 3/4” taller and Barb and I like it. I don’t think it’s a popular mod though.
