If too hot is a problem, like when cooking bacon.
1. Lay the bacon out left to right (I can fit the full 12 pieces from a 12 oz pack)
2. Later in the cook, turn the heat control clockwise, just past the "starter" detent (have to push the dial in) around 10 o'clock towards off, and slowly eyeball the flame, it will go lower than the full counter-clockwise "low". You will still have to move the bacon around for an even cook of all the pieces........
Grease catcher (for the rear grease catcher models)
A 12oz. all metal coffee can works perfect instead of the supplied messy hangar+liner thingy. Can also seal it it for travel and use again.
