Brand New 5.0 Issues

ETI seems to be struggling with maintaining the level of quality it seems they may once have had as they scale production up but the after sales support is something you don’t see in this industry often.

Agree on both points. I have had several minor quality issues on my brand new (end of May) E23, some fixed myself, some needing help from my local RV service place. Support has been quick to send parts and authorize payment.

Free advice for anyone with a question or warranty issue: phone them, do not email. They are great on the phone, not so great on email responses.

I would agree that ETI seems to be inconsistent in quality control and craftsmanship. I'm sure it is a tough balance for them. For a product that is hugely dependent on craft and skilled labor, quality control can be very expensive. Combine that with the need to meet demand, sales targets and revenue, it's a tough balancing act.

For those that have issues with new trailers, I know that is of no help. My advice for you is keep your focus on the long game. The Escape is a solid platform for your camping adventures. Do your best to resolve the issues at hand and you will have wonderful camper that will serve you for many years.
