Breaking it in

How about storing the trailer in the summertime. Do you leave the windows open or do you keep everything closed? In the winter we had the windows closed and a heater brought in.

I leave the windows closed and the max fan vent half open. Do this anytime I’m storing my 19 .

Yea we’ve all or many of us have done it...I’ve got a small dent on my first tv from when I forgot to chock the wheels....
I agree the hard rubber chock from HF work well and r a good value especially if u get them on sale or use a coupon.
It does get easier with practice.

What I like the most about the bathroom window is that I can leave it open partially and the MaxxFan lid partially open. When dust blows in the window it stays in the bathroom and I can easily wash it down the drain.

Did our first off grid campout. Four days at a free campground on the Natchez Trace. I was very impressed with the two six volt batteries. Ran the vent fan and my CPAP every night. Batteries only dropped down to 12 volts which was three lights on the guage. Really builds my confidence up for future trips.

Just so you know, 12V is about 50%, below which you should avoid if you want to get maximum life out of your batteries.

Our first long distance trip was to Boston Massachusetts. Went for six days. Loving our cute little trailer!

What size Inverter are you using in your 21? We have the 1500 Watt Go Power device, but it doesn't seem to be enough juice. Wish there had been a 2000 Watt or even 3000 Watt option.

We got the standard 1500 watt that came with the trailer. Runs everything fine. It was funny though, in Massachusetts we were plugged into a house on an extension cord and we couldn't run the microwave and toaster at the same time. We could on the house batteries.
